Developing is done under the safe-light which allows you to study your femme-image as it "comes up" on the developing paper. (If a portion of the pic seems to be "coming in" too slowly the friction-heat of rubbing your fingers over this area will speed up the development.) Once you are satisfied with the development the print is immersed in the stop bath and room light can be turned on. The print if then fixed, washed, and dried in full light. Again, the easy-to-follow directions come with the Tri-Chem Pack.

Femme photography can be enjoyed with just the simplest of equipment or one can go into the more elaborate lay-outs with film developing-tanks, contact printer, and enlarger. But regardless of the approach it is a marvelously satisfying hobby and the only real way to appreciate the difference between mere "narcissism" and auto-visualism.
